Oh what a lovely war drew an audience of over 300 over three nights, one of the largest we’ve ever had.
Stephen Gaskell, our chair, said: “On behalf of the Players, thanks to everyone who came along to see Oh what a lovely war.
“Our directors, Laura Merrett and Shelley Brownlee, did an amazing job. And, once again, the cast and crew featured several new faces and a whole heap of talent.
“We are delighted with the support we’ve had from the local community in recent years, and these latest audience figures show it’s only increasing. It’s wonderful for our cast and crew to see so many people turning up to enjoy the show.
“And the more people come, the more we can do. All the money we raise through ticket, refreshment and raffle sales is invested in future productions.”
We will publish the final audience numbers and how much we raised as soon as we’ve done the arithmetic!
