Thanks for coming to Dinner

Thank you to everyone who came to see our production of Dinner by Moira Buffini. It was a pleasure to serve you!

The cast and crew had a wonderful time playing to 150 people over three nights, with a sell out on opening night. The comments we had from the audience make us confident you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Stephen Gaskell, chair, said: “Dinner was a fantastic success, serving up a much more modern production for us. I was fortunate to be part of a brilliant cast and team in putting the production together. My thanks go to Shelley Brownlee and Uli Wilfer, the directing team, whose imagination, hard work and enthusiasm helped to give our fantastic audience a sweet and deliciously dark treat each night.”

Shelley Brownlee, director, said: “We hugely enjoyed directing Dinner – a relevant and modern play for uncertain times. The work of the entire team, from cast to front of house and backstage has been tremendous, particularly when you consider that we had such a tight rehearsal and performance window of seven weeks. We hope that the players will continue to produce modern, edgier plays, as an effective counterbalance to the the more traditional plays.”

Our thanks also go to Aga’s Little Deli, On the hoof and Sugar Mountain, all of whom donated raffle prizes.
