Second playwriting challenge
Our playwriting group met for the second time on 7 December to read through the results of our first challenge: to write 10 pages of dialogue.
We chose the concept ‘shelf’ as our starting point, and the results were varied! Characters ranged from some items left in a cupboard under the stairs, to a centenarian off to celebrate her birthday.
We’re going to meet again in February, by which time we will each have written 10 pages based on, or inspired by, a world event, such as the moon landings or sinking of the Titanic.
If you want to be involved in the group – whose aim is to eventually write something we can produce – please do contact us.
