Autumn Production Cast Announcement

After an amazing turnout for our auditions, we are beyond excited to announce the cast for our Autumn Production of Dracula directed by Stephen Gaskell. The cast will be;

Dracula – Gary Stewart
Van Helsing – Kitty Jansz-Moore
Dr Seward – Shelley Brownlee
Lucy Seward – Gabriella Jones
John Harker – Alan Parry Roberts
Maid – Sophie Batchelor
Butterworth – Graham White
Renfield – Kate McLeay

We have also decided to cast a short ‘prelude’ play set in Transylvania to tell the story of how Dracula came to London.  This will involve:

Narrator / Solicitor – Mark Harrington
Vampire woman – Huyla Corty

In case you hadn’t already heard, to celebrate 125 years since the publication of Bram Stoker’s world famous novel St George’s Players will be performing the original stage play of Dracula, written by Hamilton Deane and John Balderston this autumn.

Lucy Seward, daughter of the physician in charge of a sanatorium near London has taken ill with what seems a mysterious virus.  The physician calls on the help of a friend, a Dr Van Helsing who specialises in strange and novel diseases.  What can be causing Lucy to be so weak and anaemic?  Will Lucy’s sweetheart Johnathan Harker be able to marry his love before it’s too late?  With a race against time, Van Helsing fears the work the oldest adversary Count Dracula a vampire and blood sucking fiend who preys on the living to feed his undead soul.

The show will be held between 27-29 October at St Georges Church, Vancouver Road, with tickets available to book soon.
