10th Dec – Reading

We will be hosting a reading of Charles Dickens festive classic A Christmas Carol on the 10th December.

The venue for this will be the upstairs room in the Blythe Hill Tavern and we will begin at 19:30.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the play, here is a brief synopsis to whet your appetite;

A Christmas Carol is a play about a mean-spirited and selfish old man, Ebenezer Scrooge, who hates Christmas. When Scrooge gets home on Christmas Eve, he is visited by the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Marley – and then by three ghosts! They are the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. The ghosts’ journey through time teaches Scrooge the error of his ways.
